Take a close look at the Barrel rotation and you can understand how they work with the reel cutter. Plant material is naturally tumbling into the cutting zone for the best results. The Right Barrel rotates clockwise, while the Left Barrel rotates counterclockwise. The Barrels counter rotation cause the material to naturally roll into cutting zone over the reel cutter. With this rotation only ONE Reel Blade is required for both Barrels. The reel cutter is positioned at the precise position for the best cutting action on both barrels.
